Thanks again for the updates Timmy, see if you can find out if JBR are going to put a protest in regarding Kelly's effort.

STEWARDS UPDATE 1: 0930hrs Saturday 30th May 2009

Matters arising from Practice:

Following an investigation and an admission by Dale Wood Car #16, that he had driven at non comfortable speed losing control and leaving the Race Track during a media ride, the Stewards imposed a Fine of $2,000 with $1,000 suspended until 31/12/09.

This is great, imagine being in the car, definitely a memorable ride[y]

No penalty for Kelly. [rt]

It's okay to run someone off the race track and ruin their day but don't ever fill up your car with a wheel on the ground.

Matters arising from Race 7:

The Stewards imposed a PLP time of 25 seconds to be added to the Race time for Car #12 Dean Fiore, for refueling without all 4 wheels off the ground.

STEWARDS UPDATE 2: 1400hrs Saturday 30th May 2009

Matters arising from Qualifying:

The Stewards disallowed the fastest lap time for Car #39 Russell Ingall for blocking.

The Stewards disallowed Car #111 Fabian Coulthard and Car #888 Craig Lowndes from continuing in Qualifying after they caused the Session to be stopped.

On that performance he gets my vote as TTT for the rest of the bloody year.[jk][jk][jk][jk][jk][jk]

Downright dangerous and that kind of driving will only get someone seriously injured or killed someday. Someone needs to point out to Todd that it's a V8supercar race and not a fu%*(ng demolition derby.

Well done boys! Great qualifying and shootout effort.

Fantastic race Steve! Smooth, consistent and quick!

Hard luck James. Toddy Kelly is a dirty weasel [rt]. Similar effort to what he did to Whincup in Qualifying at Hamiton last year, but Kharma is a biatch and Todd has his own coming in the second race.

Come on guys! Lets regroup, punch out a solid qualifying session then bring them home straight and towards the front!

Fire up :D

Does anyone else think that Dumbell deliberately held Fabien up to make sure he didn't get past Wakka davison, I mean Dumbell got the blue flag for 3 laps and blocked the whole time until one lap to go. ( I'm pretty sure the Autobarn car is a TWR product ; so team orders ?)

yes indeed, a silly and very costly mistake for a team that is in Championship contention.

I love Dicks excuse - "I was walking back from the pit wall and there was a wheel in front of me so I just picked it up"
