Day 1

Cold as hell with the temp maxing out at 12.3deg at 3.00pm and then falling quickly it made for an interesting time on the track. The low cloud and brief patches of sun played with some of the divers during the 3 practices sessions. Overall a great result for DJR during the practices, at one point SJ & JC were running 3th & 4th. Looking forward to seeing how they feel tomorrow with the team mates gathering in the morning. I am sure there spirits are high afters today?s results.

Had a chat with the boys up at the merchandise truck trying to do odd jobs to pick up the JC bonnet they had for sale. No deal was the answer. They even had the rear windows from last year?s PI & Bath car with wills name on it for $150. I told him as far as he?s concerned his name is dirt to me and the boys on the club 17 website.

Moving on I will add a couple of pics from today?s run. I will be taking plenty more so I will add the best ones when I can.

Just checked the sponsors page on the DJR website and indeed they have picked up Navman as well as Hardy Spicer.

Thanks guys, I hope it warms up too. There were snow coulds forming over the mountains around the track as we were heading off tonight but no snow is forcast but it will be cold again over the next couple of days. Still theres nothing like having your backside trackside.
