Bloody good thing it's not me holding the rec! With all the negative publicity over the years I'd say enough is enough, sell the rec to erebus so they have four cars and retire. How much $hi7 can one man take...... seriously

F*** me dead! I'm starting to think that if this team was a loved pet, it would have been taken to the vet an put down by now, as sad as it is to say it.

I think people are realising that either Dick is impossible to work with or that once they get right into it, the team is in an unrecoverable downward spiral.

Since the split with Charlie the team has been struggling. I have a suspicion that CS along with the Webbs are major contributors to the downfall of DJR. Some of us have witnessed first hand some of the things that have been said by CS and SW and if they are prepared to say those things to us, you can only imagine what they have been saying to others in the Industry including potential sponsors. There has been a lot of damage done to the DJR brand and it is well and truly on life support. The big question now is do they turn it off and when.[sh]

It gets to a point where you can't decide to be impressed by the tenacity or saddened by the foolishness if it all. Hate to say it but I think the time has come.

I think also we need to remember that unless there are direct quotes atributed to people in DJR, that in the past the media, particularly in some instances have made some pretty big conclusion jumps where the Team is concerned.

I tend to agree with you. If you read the speed comments seems ezi didnt realise what sort of money pit b8supercabs are. He is still buying the cars from djr (will they be prepared by DJR/INOV8)

Don't think you can lay the blame at CS or SW.

Whats done is done and that was going on 3 years ago.

If it was all rosie, wouldn't you think DJR would be able to replace Beam and get a good naming rights sponsor.

I've said it before. Until DJR start to look after the core business. Which is Motor Racing.
Thats hould have taken precedence over everything and once in a healthy state the money and luxury houses will follow.

Nepotism is what stopped the CS deal and it's probably going to kill it once and for all

Col, just my opinion, but if the CS deal had gone through, there would already have been no DJR for a couple of years already,. . so it's a mute point.


If DJR is not about Dick, and his team then there is no DJR.


Also, it's my understanding that the nepitism was a side issue, the main issue that killed of CS and his deal was ownership of the Brand and rights to the DJR logo etc CS wanted it all, he wanted to BE DJR,

Maybe that is true, I don't hear as much as some of you guys do, but it's not what I heard from CS, he said he wanted Dick as a figurehead, but with zero ownership of the team or the brand.

Reported in the papers today that Fiore has given a 6pm deadline on Friday for DJR to prove they have the money to run his licence for the year or he will take it elsewhere and potential driver Tim Blanchard has given the same deadline regarding him driving for DJR and bringing 700k in sponsorship

The media reports certainly don't make a nice bedtime story. Makes one wonder how much of it is actually true. We've heard from the horses mouth "we'll be very well funded next year" at the end of last year. We've heard bugger all about the cotf progress, the list of dates for team livery unveilings on speedcafe in which djr are not even mentioned. From the outside looking in it doesn't look good.
