Another Kiwi driver what the hell. If I was a Kiwi I would be hunting down the bosses and slapping him. how do expect to do any good if 50 people drive the damn thing. I hope SBR get the naming rights

Day 1 was a nice wet day out which made it interesting for the boys. They still managed to get some quick lap times in thou. Frosty was very close to the lap record.

For the DJR boys Will had the better time on the sheets but to what him it looked like he was struggling. Mind you so was everyone else at the turns 1 - 2. Steven was keeping it nice and straight, I know he can go a lot faster.

No major incidents to mention Andrew Thompson was the highlight coming sideways down the main straight into the gravel, lucky not to roll or bog himself down. Tomorrow is supposed to have more rain so we have been told so another cold one.

I will give an update as the weekend progresses and add some pics as well.

Yours truly with Dick

I live about 20min from the track and we had 20mm of rain here. That was ment to be showers, tomorrow is ment to be rain. Since we have got home the rain and wind have stopped. However at the track you seem to get all kinds of conditions.

Not looking forward to getting wet again. The things you do for the sport you love.

Day 2. Another day with rain, none of it heavy however it hug around all day and definitely played a part in the results. Dick should be very happy with Will finishing in 4th and Steve finishing in 8th. Steve would have finished higher had he not been helped off the track. Not really sure what happened to Will during qualifying but Steve certainly was waving the DJR flag. Hope this is a sign of the future.

Today was another great day of motorsport early start to a late finish, all to be repeated again tomorrow. I headed down to the DJR pit post race to try a score Steve?s stuffed front splitter. Dick wasn't going to part with it. I think there will be a few panels for sale tomorrow in the merchandise area with most of the cars sustaining damage. Dumbrell seemed to be the worst just about every panel was removed.

I have attached some various pics from the day. This arvos ones didn't come out to well. Hope this isn't slowing the download too much. Hope you enjoy.

Shot of the day I reckon. Nothing better than a Ford Muscle car in full flight

Yes I know its a holden but they did put on a good show. He ripped the rear quarter panel clean off when he drove over the cones. The yellow ute just about hit a wall. Seconds after this shot he blew the news tryes they had just put on. Would be nice to see a XR8 out there.
