So apparently not getting your pitstop done in time when you are T888 is a safety issue,. . . . . putting the dry ice in the bucket for the cool suit ?? and then having a marshal go out and shut the door you forgot??
I agree with the idea that whincup should have been penalised because he rally should have pitted at the end of the first lap to have his service finished.

Safety issue my arse! So you can't re-enter the pits after that hey. Forgetting to do up your belts or helmet is a safety issue, not starting the race with an empty dry ice container for your cool suit! Going by 888's past efforts Burgess and Dane would've been in the guys face like they usually are.

Why is every one singling out Whincup? Same thing happened with Lowndes.
The team made a mistake, it's not a safety issue, and it should have been rectified with a pit stop, not special treatment.
