Skycity Triple Challenge -Darwin

Nearly time for my home round. Not expecting anything too exciting to happen, but I will make a few predictions for the weekend.

1. There will be footage of drivers driving a tank out at the army base.
2. There will be footage of drivers out boating with the navy (maybe even torching a few asylum seeker boats.....?)
3. There will be footage of drivers swimming with crocs in the so called cage of death.
4. Someone will complain about it being hot.
5. The NT News will come up with a sensational headline (preferably involving crocs).
6. I will end up socially excited some time over the weekend.
7. Chaz will continue to improve, Tim will be battling it out with Maro Engel.
8. Channel 7 will continue to show nothing but T8.

Anyone else got a prediction for the weekend?

Thanks for the much needed edit there Bartman. Although you forgot to involve hookers.

I did actually do some research, trying to work out if I have done more laps than Tim or Chaz at Hidden Valley. Turns out Chaz did Formula Ford back in 2010, and did quite well, and Tim ran in the utes last year. So no excuses! (Yeah right, anyone want to wager on who will be the first to complain about a cool suit failure)

My olds are in the NT at the moment hauling their caravan around and saw a few of the transporters on their way up.

My predictions are as follows;

1. Mark Larkham will use the heat gun on pit lane to demonstrate just how hot it is.

2. Mark Skaife will use the term "modulate" at some time over the weekend.

3. Someones cool suit will fail

Looks like Frosty is on the pace so far, although I'm sure his pit crew will come up with some way to stuff it up.

I've decided that this category should be call TEREV8SC Championship. As in Triple Eight Race Engineering V8 Supercar Championship. The officials seem to bow down and worship these guys. You forget to put dry ice in the cool suit box, bad luck, make a pit stop to do it, if your so professional you shouldn't forget. The whole category has become a joke, they'll be very lucky if I watch tomorrow, or any time after that actually, I've had it.

Then in the second stint whincup Jumps the start , not waiting for the call that the safety car has crossed the controll line,. . . the rest have paniced and the result sees a smash up derby with several cars in the pits and some out including 17.

Great result for Chas to finish in 7th. awesome job [bw][bw][y][y]
