Great effort from everyone in the team.
Seem to be lacking just a tad in the handling dept.
Engine power seems pretty good - come on Bathurst!!
I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of Luffy and Webb - very consistent all day.

Good chance Steve Owen will be TTT for Bathurst.

That would be a given thing in my mind, next in line should be Rick "I can only pass by belting the shit out of the car in front of me" Kelly. Another great move by P-Rick Kelly on car 18.[bgn][bgn]

Was the end of that race a set up?

I mean fair dinkum. last lap and a message goes out to Lowndes and he replies with, (WTF !!! he said more words than he ever says in a whole race) not his usual OK

he sounded resigned to the outcome, and even the team didn't look like they were utterly crushed after leading for the majority of that race and after losing the lead and regaining it.

So when he lost the lead , was he under instruction to do so? and then did he decide stuff it I'll go past, only to have the team tell him to let the other car by ?

I just don't buy the whole Tyre about to let go story, it's just unlike craig to just slow like that and settle.

Now that Holden have bought Tr888or's ass, HRT are calling the shots and that means letting their drivers win.

T888 you suck, you're grubs, and you deserve whatever you get!!!

very interesting coverage this afternoon of the mark skaife sprint gas show NOT

I couldn?t stop laughing at the start of the coverage yesterday and today. White and Crompton sitting at a desk in the Sprint Gas garage and crossing live to Mark Skaife complete with headphones and microphone in you guessed it??. the Sprint Gas garage. Isn?t technology just wonderful! To think that our commentators can get live pictures and sound from Mark Skaife all the way over on the other side of the garage. It?s amazing!

A job well done by the team today. Bring on Bathurst.

My TTT for the round is Besnard. Lap 1 of 113 and he was pushing and bumping like it was a 1 lap smash up derby. He near ended #17?s race in the first few corners. Madness.

Great effort by the team today, having the two cars up the front all day kept it interesting.

Good chance Steve Owen will be TTT for Bathurst.
Good chance? He is a dead-set special!!
Apart from his dud driving, can't believe he had the balls to fire back at McConville.

CL wouldnt cheat

Craig seemed pretty cut to me. No way can I see him giving up a race win.

Wow congrats to DJR. Would of preferred a podium leading into Bathurst, but promising signs. To have the number 18 well entrenched in the top ten too is awesome - we definitely had the strongest car combo out there today!!!!

What a shame for CL and the team vodafone crew, of all times for a tyre to go.

He did seem very upset (as you would be) but he put and head down and moved on.

As for the Jesus Racing guys, 20th position and the highest placed wild card entry, i emailed them before and they were very happy with the result and can't wait for bathurst. :D

DJR displayed some very good form today and thing look promising for a great Bathurst campaign.

T8 or HRT - meh,...... didn't care which of these 2 won today, both have fallen from the same ar5ehole as far as I'm concerned.

I must be the only person that didn't get the Steve Owen/Cam McConville thing. I don't see what Owen did wrong. They were racing for position beit 13th. McConville looked to have more room to his right without needing to go onto the grass, Owen dosen't seem to pull to the right to squeeze him out. To me I think McConville made the contact to Owen.

Very glad to see no one was injured in that - that had the makings of a horrible accident.

I had a feeling that since Holden Bought Tr888or there'd be some quarter given when the HRT and they met on track, but that was so staged. CL never slows and preserves, he gives it to the end, there's no doubt in my mind that he was under instruction to let Tander by.

Any way great effort by the whole DJR team, a great drive from all 4 drivers, and the pitstops were awesome. I think DJR was an example of the spirit of racing this weekend

Well done the Team.

I Agree, I had to watch the race after work and I replayed the footage over a couple more times and I think McConville could have moved overor braked for a fraction to avoid contact

Over all I think well done to both cars in the event, Can't beleive HRT had the race handed to them for a second year in a row. Bring on Bathurst and lets see what happens.

I think when you boil it down both Owen and McConville contibuted to their incident, yes Owen did move over, but I do believe that McConville had it well within his powers to avoid hitting, it wasn't like Owen drove into the side of him.

I just had a stupid thought... is it possible Holden don't want a #1 on a car that the championship was won in a Ford for them???? This might explain HRT going past so easy!

I thought it was more what Owen had to say after the incident that made him look a dill. He claimed that he turned to get away from McConville having an accident but I didn't see any of that. Whay was he blocking so early in a 500k race anyway. I think Cam was right when he said he can see why he doesn't have a regular drive. However I do think that you guys are right that Cam did make a contribution to his "owen" accident however a significantly smaller contribution than Owen.

As Jamie said a few weeks ago "Were racers", Im sure they wouldent have let it go on-purpose.
