I'm new to this model collecting game so excuse my ignorance, but what is the story with the "twin mirror" xy gtho?

900 were originally made for Ford dealers only, they were also the first 1:18 scale model commissioned by Biante.

Of these a very small number, 134 I think, had mirrors on both doors thus making them a rare item.

I put all my DJR model cars in 1:43rd and 1:64th scale in a cabinet on Australia Day. It has helped me to work out what I am missing (quite a few it seems) and also I know which cars have not been made in this scale as yet.

My mission, should I choose to, is to fill in the blanks over the next 12 months. Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook would have already seen the photo, but for the rest of you, here it is.

picked up Stevie J's 2010 FG in 1:18 yesterday. Might have to take it back though, the fuel tank doesn't seem to sit square.[sh]

I've got the 2008 SBR #4 livery, and the 2010 Championship winner for DJR.

I'd love to get my hands on one of the 1:10 DJR models.

I'm not a collector, but man,. . . .so when are the pics coming ? gotta see that.[bw]

As a side issue, My grandfather collected Matchbox since he was a young un, he had several converted mahogany wardrobes full of them on display with boxes etc ( each box filled with wax paper so they didn't lose their shape) and when he passed away my mum's brother sold the collection for enough to buy a house outright.

Aparently they could have almost doubled that if they'd broken up the collection.[rt]
