He's having a great run at the moment.
He just needs a good start now to continue it.
In the interview he looks really relaxed.

Get Use ( Used ) To It!

Yer Vince, I think Jacky Stewart is right saying Mark is peaking in his career!

What about you?

Absolutly Jc will be on the pace up there, I don`t think any one but himself will stop his & the Teams momentum from now on.

Sj should bag a podium as well. :)

Hopefully Horner tells Vettle that he now has ride shotgun for Webber, only good thing to come out of it is Vettel is now 15 points behind Webber.

I Hope they do up untill that point and then Sj`s commen sense prevails, he lets Jc past and then the two of them storm home for a 1 - 2 YaHoo!

Just shows how much Webber is on it at the moment to hang on to it and keep going.

Great driving Webber.

Young Vetal will learn from his Mistake!

Reading some F1 news this morning and apparently Webber was told to turn the wick down at the same time Vettel was told to turn it up. Sounds like Red Bull are playing favorites to Vettel, when Horner was questioned on this he replied to some reporters with a no comment.

" Red Bull team principal Christian Horner said he didn’t believe it was Vettel’s fault. Is this the official opinion of the team?
HM:
Well, in the situation Sebastian was in, he had no other choice than to act the way he did. "

Jeez some people make some absolutely ridiculous statements!

"Red Bull motorsports boss Helmut Marko has publically blamed Webber for the Istanbul clash, telling Autoweekracing.com that Webber should have relented to ensure a one-two result for the team."

Hullo!!!! Weren't they already running one-two?

there is something very stinky about that situation the other night. Vettal was clearly in the wrong....I don't care if he was 3 times quicker than Webber...he simply turned right into him. Webber didn't have to yield. Vettal had the legs already..he just drove into him.

What's stinky is the teams comments....wtf is going on there.....sounds like the drivers are the only ones towing the team line...all these other monkeys are coming out and chucking shit

I agree. I was reading somewhere that Red Bull (or more to the point this HELMUT guy) would prefer Vettel to win the drivers championship because Vettel is German (more supporters) and Red Bull have spent a lot of money getting Vettel to this point (the Red Bull Drivers academy etc).

It also sounds like Red Bull are going all out in their spending this year and they are going to scale back spending next year (I heard by half, but they are covering this up by saying that they are looking for a major sponsor). It is now or never for Webber!

Red Bull clear the air ahead of Canada

Following a meeting at their Milton Keynes factory on Thursday, Red Bull believe they have drawn a line under the collision between drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber during the Turkish Grand Prix.

Vettel, Webber, team principal Christian Horner, chief technical officer Adrian Newey and Red Bull motorsport consultant Dr Helmut Marko all attended the meeting at the team’s UK base.

The duo collided on Lap 40 of the Istanbul Park event whilst battling for the lead. Vettel, who had been running in second when he had the opportunity to overtake his team mate, span off the track and out of the race. Webber eventually finished in third, behind the McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

“The team had got us into a great position and it wasn’t good for them what happened - so I’m sorry for them that we lost the lead of the race,” said Vettel in a statement released by the team. “Mark and I are racers and we were racing. We are professionals and it won’t change how we will work together going forward. We have a great team and the spirit is very strong. I’m looking forward to Canada.”

Webber added: “It’s a shame for the team, as we lost a good opportunity to win the race. It’s sport and these things can happen, but it shouldn’t have done. I feel for everyone at Red Bull, at the factory and everyone involved. Seb and I will make sure it doesn’t happen again and will continue to work openly together, no problem. We have talked enough on it now, it’s done, we’re looking ahead and I’m focused on the race in Canada next week.”
