Interesting items on eBay

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    3. "Use of characters (eg. #$*@!) that only 'partially' disguise an intended vulgar/offensive word(s) is unacceptable!
If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

If I could actually go and physically sight the car I'd give him 40 large folding in a heartbeat!

Edit: Just checked - no longer available!

Not surprising, no doubt the "actual owner" cottoned on and contacted ebay. Anyone who knows their 70's muscle cars would know thats way under value.

The ad read as though the "ground up" restoration was just completed.
I wonder if there was a problem between the owner and whoever did the resto.
The old "if you don't pay me I'll sell it to get my money" game.

A bit suss considering most people know what these cars are worth now. Admittedly the XB isn't one of the most fashionable GTs but it is still a GT nonetheless and I've seen quite a few lesser examples sell for more.[sh]

Even if one assumes the worst and it is an ex taxi with 600,000k's in the condition it is presented in and being a matching numbers car and a replica GT, it's still cheap.

I hope Gerry talks to him soon.
