I wonder if it will get any bidding, ebay is dead right now, no one seems to have any money to spend and if there is a bid it's usually only in the last minute and items sell at starting price.


Is 100k cheap, great list of spares. also anyone know who the seller is?

BAD POINTS


  • paint is bad had 2 resprays backyard jobs
  • panels need aligning front doors rub on front panels
  • oil pump in the gear box is broken it is in safe mode in 3rd gear and wines from gear box
  • diff is on its way out

This thing never got a bid. I'm not sure which car this is? The description refers to 2 different cars. It has it starting on the front row at Bathurst in 2000 and finishing 2nd in the hands of the Rat and Bright, but it was Jnr in #17 that started from P2 after a wet shootout and finished the race 4th with #18 starting from 5th and finishing 2nd. I remember it clearly because I went down to the grid a 2am and took a leak on pole where Gardiner was starting in the FPR car. When Gardiner couldn't get traction off the start and Steve was first into Hell corner the mates credited me with the lack of grip.:D

I think they are also confusing Bathurst 1999 with 2001. In 1999 The Rat decided to pull over and feed the horses with about 10 laps to go, whilst in 2001 Johnson/Radisich went out before the half way mark with a blown engine.

It annoys me when people wana sell things and hang their hat on the history of the item, then get the history completely wrong [f]

Bold predictions Snappa. They look suspiciously like Waverley Fork Lift stickers on the back of the car and Amcor no longer sponsors DJR yet Ice Cold Cans remains on the front bar.
