Guys,
I also become frustrated with the flow or lack of info at times , but , remember although we are fans and I'm sure they appreciate our support through thick or thin , we are only members of the public, not stakeholders or investers in the whole supercar juggernaught. Like the admin said at DJR site months ago, all team officials talk to other team officials and business leaders of companies on a regular basis, and when its seen by an onlooker, it can quite understandably seem as if deals are going down. The amounts of funding these teams need to function with are massive, and you don't get cash if you don't go out there asking for it.
If its just negotiations being held, would you expect them to announce it over the internet? Of course not.
The ratio of negotiations held that don't come to fruition, would far out weigh the single one final plan the team goes with for the new season. I really don't need to know every move they make.
As for selling of the personal fleet of racing cars, you got to remember guys that those cars are Dicks personal property, not the teams, (is there a difference in that?). I was disappointed as you all were to hear the fleet of the most loved Fords in Australia was sold, I guess it was a personal decision, the upside is if you get to visit DJR HQ you'll get to see some of the Bowden collection. This ought to equate to boosted sales in the merch shop as more race fans from both Holden and Ford will come to see the Bowdens collection, a collection that is traditionally stored out of sight from the public.
Hang in there guys when the smoke settles in a few weeks time we will know the truth.
