Beejay the Melfords XB is not the genuine car its a look a like. Im pretty sure that one of the XC's was converted to a road car and sold by John Harris. But have never heard what happenend to the other XC. I am not sure but is there 2 XC's that race in group C historics in Bryan Byrt colours?

TRU BLU, there is 2 ex Johnson XC's owned by Harris & raced in group C historics. 1 is the reverse Cobra 1978 & the other is the 79 XC.

Small side note here, John Harris owns 7 Group C Touring Cars. 3 XC's, 1 XD, 1 XE & 2 Capri's. Nice collection that..

Here's a pic of the XCs at a Queensland touring car race, prior to Bathurst 1978. Dick and Father French finished 1-2, which must have been the first time DJR obtained a 1-2.
