It pretty easy up to 95.
XD 1 : 1980 crashed shell sold to Jon English

XD 2 : 1981 ATCC 81 and 82 Bathurst 81.Sold to Alf Grant and puchased back by DJR

XE 1 :Mid 1982 run as tru-blu till rebuild mid 83 use as wood chopper 83.
Shell sold to sims metal.

XE mk 2 : Bathurst 83 sold by team end of 83 (I think)
I Think it became the Freedom fence Falcon run by Hopwood in 84 Bathurst. (Dont quote me on that I might be way off)

XE 2 : ATCC 84 Still owned by DJR

Mustang 1 and 2
I know one went to NZ and was crashed by DJ in NZ end of 1996.
Was totally rebuilt and sprayed white including cage and brought back by DJR ?
The other one : That was the JPS car.
Where is it now ?

Sierra 1 to ?
How many was there ?
One went to England to Rob Gravatt
And I remember Ray Lintoot Purchased 1 and run it in Valvoline colours (with help from the team)
The others including the Bathurst and ATCC ones ?

EB 1 This was the Test car built by Neil Lowe.
Was a Show car. Dont know its history.

EB 2 3 and 4 One was deystroyed at Bathurst and the other ones.

Did thay not become EF or EL

I know JB wrote one EF off but it may ahve been rebuilt.

EL: I know ther was 1 built new but the rest

AU: Did Craig Harris buy the Last 17 car that DJ ran ?
2 are Konica cars.
I think 4 or 5 were built .

There you go.
Its the best i can do for now...
Any help......Please

JC i thought the first XD was sold to John Donnelly. John English's XD was the ex Allan Moffat XD.
1 Mustang was sold to Ian Love?? in WA which I think is the one DJR bought back & the other stang was sold to NZ. The JPS Mustang was raced at Wellington before the 1986 ATTC so I presume it come home as a spare for for the 86 series & was sold after Bathurst. But I'm not sure if you can count them as a DJR chassis as Dick bought at least one Stang as a race ready package. Remember when it practiced at Bathurst 84 as the #71 white car it still had the old race rubber on it from it's previous life.
Sierras, at least 5
Eb's, I would say 5. The 92 Neal Lowe built EB showcar. The two Ross Stne built EB's for the 93 series, which the #17 car was written off at Bathurst & now sits in the DJR museum as the 94 Bathurst winning EB replica. Was rebuilt by TAFE. So there had to be a new car for the start of the 94 seies which makes 4 EB's & then JB was given a new #18 EB at Eastern Creek I think half way through the Shell series which went on to be the 94 Bathurst winner, so that made 5 EB's from my calculations.
Both EB's were converted to EF's for the 95 series & I think there might have been a new #17 EF somewhere in 95. Bowe wrote the 94 bathurst winning chassis off at PI 1996 & then reverted back to one of the older cars for the rest of the series. They totally rebuilt one of the EF's "The MEGA CAR" for the 1996 Sandown 500 & then they built one new EL for DJ which he debuted at Lakeside 98 in THAT race where he tried to lap Paul Weel. That chassis was sold to Cameron McClean for the 99 ATTC which he won the privateers cup. Was then sold to Terry Wyhoon & is now for sale for about $50000 in Auto Action the other week.
Two new AU's for 99 for the rat & DJ. New #18 for Sandown round of the 2000 ATTC which Paul won and went on to finish second at Bathurst with Jason Bright. Another new #18 for Paul at THAT Adelaide race which Paul tried everthing he knew to try & destroy & Steve was built a new chassis for the Qld 500 which he won with Radisich and as far as I know that was the last AU, so that would make 5 AU's. Last DJ#17 was sold to Andrew Harris (Blue roof AU) after the 2000 Qld 500 & then was raced by Dale Brede in Gulf Western Colours for the 2002 Konica series.
BA's-2. But surely due for a new one.

Sorry.
You are correct about the XD. My Mistake
Mustangs:Correct again.
As far as I can tell Ian Love brought the JPS Mustang and the other Stang went to NZ where DJ crashed it.I remember it T-boning a BMW.
It was rebuilt as I saw it race in NZ in the WTCC in 97 on a tape I have at home.

I've put a bit more thought into it JC. The first #18 Shell EB was sold to John Trimbole, remember the 'Daily Planet' Falcon which I think was then sold to Mike Conway who ran it in 'OAMPS' colours for a couple of years before crashing it heavily at Phillip Island. There was an EF-EL sold to Neil Shemberi who ran it in them awful Bettergrow colours. This was a deal done by Curl Orr who sold Neil a Perkins chassis when Curl was working for Larry. That DJR chassis I think was sold to the UK where it raced in a Thundersport series over there.
I mentioned the first #17 AU chassis was sold to Craig Harris, the first #18 AU, the one that should have won Bathurst 1999, was sold to Ross Halliday & raced by Greg Crick in the Konica series & I think it still races now in the Konica series but who peddles it I'm not sure.

I think Peter Gazzard brouht one of the AU`s and ran it in the konica series last year, me thinks it was rat`s from `03?

I think the Sierra is a classic to a lot of motorsport fans just 12 years after it finished it's motor racing life. Imagine how much of a classic it will be in another 10-20 years. Would that be the latest race car in Dave's collection Bigcol??

Speaking of the museum, Dick now has a FJ to add to his collection which will need a bit of TLC. It will be painted in the same colours that DJ made his racing debut in so many years ago. A Bloody Holden in amongst all them classic old #17 Fords. Wonder whose great idea that one was??

I noticed that the Capri Dick shared with Graham Moore to 10th outright (3rd in class) in 1976 was up for sale again a couple of months ago. It had been converted back to a road car, but cam ewith its CAMS log book... any takers?

On the subject, who wants to tip in a few bob to get back the original TruBlu(shell)???It's sitting in a shed, so I am told, and hasn't turned a wheel since end of 1984
