Steves late move at the final corner in race three was a ripper and pulled off with such finesse to snatch 9th

seems like the evil force of the TWR influence has prevailed

I think it might have something to do with HRT's rumoured budget of 12 million dollars a season.
Would love to know how much the medical condition team's budget is worth as well

But Perkins racing did the job and in race looked great.
How about the last corner spin out in race 2?
I think there should be a cap on money spent FPR would have a good budget as well.
What is it with the Cosworth sign on some Fords?

The Cosworth sign is only on the WPS Fords. Craig Gore has an interest in Cosworth now as well as just about everything else. They have a technical relationship with Cosworth now as well as having Craig Hasted on board to build thier engines. Ford still do not sponsor WPS and judging by Ray Price's reaction to a question about Craig Gore i.e. wouldn't refer to him by name, I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for Ford to change thier mind. However Larko' is there now and he might make a diffrence. Time will tell.

Congrats to Richo. job well done!

Does anyone know if Canto tapped The Rats rear and spun him or was it the Rats own undoing? I dont think Canto was awarded any penality so he may be clean.

I don't exactly know why but Ford don't want to associate themselves with WPS/Craig Gore.

Nascar, apparently in the latter part of heat 2, The Rat's Commodore was intermittently dropping on to 7 cylinders and it did so coming out of the last corner. Yes Deano did touch him, but no penalty was awarded.

Good job to the team in Barbagello.

Steve still cemented in the top ten.

Shame about Steve's pit stop in race 2 costing him a few spots. Also on the restart after the safety car, how much of a gap did Barg's leave??!!?? Jnr could have been that much closer to McConville otherwise.

Nice to see once Steve did clear Bargs that he had some pretty good speed though.

More to come I hope.

You have to have a 2nd look at the weekend to realise what a good job DJR did on the weekend. Ch 10 gave them bugger all coverage as per usual so it's pretty hard at 1st glance to keep an eye on it all..

Another good solid weekend for Steve with a some more good points in the kitty & he is driving very well which is pretty encouraging. The only thing I would like to see Jnr do on occasions, is be just a little bit more agressive.

Have to agree with Col, there engine's are as good as any of the Fords out there ATM but unfortunately, no where near ANY of the top Holdens who have once again pulled a swifty to clearly have more power than the Fords.

Good job also by Will Davison. Not scared to swap paint with the best of them although his move on McConville was fairly ambitious but amusing none the less. Continues to show the potential Dick Johnson believes he has.

Overall, a good weekend for DJR. Just wish Marcos would come back & stir 'The Nose' up again. Skaife is starting to look confident again which is worrying....

I Agree on both counts Rob. Very consistant lap times and when they got some clean air they were fast. When Jnr finally got past Bargs he was 3 seconds behind McConville with 12 to go. Jnr's lap times at the end were good enough to stay in touch with Lowndes and Skaife if he was with them.

Jnr needs to back himself a bit more. If he got past Bargs after the restart he would have stood a chance of fighting with the next group. Maybe he's just not used to having a car that he can be agressive in. Great drive to run down McConville and the pass was vintage Jnr from Canberra '01. More Please.
