It's a great start DJR-FAN!!!

Just checked last years 1st practice at Barbagallo where Jnr was fastest if some of you can remember, & he set a fastest lap last year in prac 1 of a 55.7!!!

No one is anywhere near that time this year so I guess the track must be a little slower this year.

Great effort from Jnr to grab 6th in #17. The old girl is showing a bit of pace this year probably with the help of his new engineer George Cummins.

Great effort also from Will yesterday as well in 15th & considering he was up the pointy end with not long to go & is only 2 tenths behind Jnr, shows the cars are fairly competitive in WA..

I'm now going to make the boldest of bold predictions for todays qualifying...........

WE WILL HAVE AT LEAST 1 DJR CAR IN THE SHOOTOUT..

I hope I haven't put the mockers on em' .....

GO DJR!!!!!!!

No change.. Jnr 10th after shootout.

Fords are no where again this weekend, I think the SBR Fords are 14th for JC & 17th for #1. 888 quickest Ford in 5th, Brighty 8th, Frosty 9th & good ol' DJR in 10th & 11th..

Let's hope for a strong run in the 3 races & Jnr to consolidate his 5th place in the standings....

Nice to see both cars starting a little further forward than usual.

The best part is that the DJR cars normally have race times that are closer to their qualifing time than any other team. If that stays true for this weekend we could be in for a good points haul for both Steve and Will.

I'm starting to get excited!

If DJR can improve on their qualifying position in the race like they have so far this year, it could be a good weekend. The TWPG cars are in the top 4 positions, I reckon I would be having a very close look at them if I were one of the officials!

Fairliy impressed with the grunt of the DJR engines at the moment.
Seemed to have Ingalls measure in a straight line.
Need to see them next to a HRT car for a good measure though

Those HRT things have some squirt. Did anyone hear the Lowndes/Little radio conversation at the end of race 3? Cambell said something like "those HRT cars have some grunt in a straight line" to which Lowndes replied "OOHH YEAH!". DJR do seem to have good grunt and power down. From watching them on the weekend they are pretty well balanced too, I reckon they aren't too far away from the front runners pace now.

Steves late move at the final corner in race three was a ripper and pulled off with such finesse to snatch 9th

seems like the evil force of the TWR influence has prevailed
