I was looking at a forum discussion somewhere where they were talking about works drivers changing camps. There are any number of drivers who have driven for one, or maybe two factory teams (Lowndes, Skaife, Moffat, Brock etc)

Name two drivers who have driven for MORE than two officially factory-supported racing teams in Australia

Jim Richards : BMW, Nissan and HRT
Allan Moffat : Ford, Mazda and HDT (Can I claim HDT in the 80's)
Peter Brock : Holden, BMW and Volvo (Volvo in 2 litre)
Neil Crompton : HRT, FPR and Mazda (Bathurst 12 hour)
John Bowe : Nissan, Volvo and Mazda (Eastern Creek 12 hour)
Brad Jones : Mitsubishi, HRT and Lotus (Wasn't the Lotus he ran in production factory backed ?)
Colin Bond : HDT, Ford and Toyota (Remember with John Smith)
Rick Bates : FPR, Toyota rally and Di@su (Sorry about the spelling and yes I know Di@su is owned by Toyota)

Me too!

I was thinking of Bondy in particular when I submitted the question -- what a pedigree that guy has!

Can you think of anyone who has driven for more than one incarnation of a particular manufacturer's works team? I can think of one straight up, but there may be more....

Jim Richards: JPS and Mobil BWM, HDT and HSV

Oh and add Alfa to works cars that Colin Bond has driven.

NOW...........

Name the driver who has driven for the same team owner yet in different cars and differnt teams...

I know Longhurst drove the BMW for Frank Gardner & he drove the Ford Sierra which was under the LOGAMO banner which I think was co-owned by Frank.
Gregg Hansford had a one of drive in Moffats XC Coupe at Lakeside 77or78 under the Moffat Ford Dealers banner & then drove the Mazda RX-7 for Peter Stuyvesnt?? & then went on to drive the ANZ Sierra.
Neil Crompton-GMS Nissan GTR& 00 Motorsport Falcon. But was Fred the owner of 00??????

Tell you what Rob 18 I never thought about Hansford or Crompton.

I had in mind Win Percy.TWR Jaguar and HRT

Talking about Crompton:
How about GIO Commodore with Bob Forbs and 00 Motorsport.

Was that in the first of the Bathurst 24 hour races? What was the other Peugeot that Cromley raced on the Hill?

Can you count Glenn Seton driving for four factory-supported teams: Nissan, FTR, FPR and the oft-forgotten SAAB ride with Colin Bond in the 1992 Bathurst 12-hour, getting a third place.
