Gary Sprague was the co-driver, and from memory it was 1983, B7H 6-hour or 500 or something - I'll check it out later...

How about the time he raced an auto Fairmont?

Its owners later competed at Bathurst in Mustangs... Dick Johnson's Brisbane Engine Centre did a race motor for them in 1986 - who were they?

Incidently he also drove a near std Fairmont in one of the enduros over there with the larger-than-life Nick Begovic.
