That last photo (Fangio) is a classic!!
Thanks Gerry, He does have a Larger head then mine, so he stretched my beenie. But I am pretty sure Fangio would agree with us as he didn't complain. lol
So After Monte Carlo we drove in a near blizzard, the 107 was blown across 2 lanes of traffic.. luckly there was no-one next to us, there was a campervan ahead of us that had be blown over, and all trucks were sitting on 50km/h so they weren't blown away either, which brought traffic to a crawl.
but we made it to Piza, Piza's weather was alot more friendlier and all they had to worry about was some flooding...
I could only wish....
then braved the conditions again and although a snow and ice storm played havoc to the roads, we were tired but safe in Maranello. The next day we were up early and the car was covered in 5cm of snow, but we brushed it off and headed straight for the Ferrari Museum.
With weather going to play a factor we decided to head back to Paris and give Venice a miss. So we drove all the way through the Mont Blanc tunnel to a small town in France called Bellegarde, small little hick town, but people were very very helpful, and was suprised with the atmosphere.
From there it was Dijon and not really much was happening... stayed for 2 nights there and got onto some really tricky icy roads.... From there straight to Paris.
but I found my sign. it was clear who is going to win Bathurst this year and even what number he will be driving.
So in Paris, you had to pay for toilet use... or do what the locals do...
More to come...
