So the last 2 weeks I have been touring around Europe.

when we landed in Paris we went straight to the car rental place picked up the Powerful Peugeot 107 and drove straight to Le Mans.

not much really happens nor could I find a museum, so it was a snap and run... the entire track was locked.

Back in the car doing the speed limit on the way to Bordeaux

Bordeaux was a very nice city, the city was just an eye opener and that was the first nights accommodation then we thought we would avoid the toll roads but the country roads were narrow and with shear drops and driving on the wrong side I had my worries and afew moments I need to change undies.

but we made it to Marseille in south France. this was a unbeleivable city. So I went up the Norte Dame and lit a candle for DJR and prayed for a sign for who will be the winners of Bathurst 2010... I got no answer, so we headed on to Monte Carlo.

Then I can across Juan Fangio... he felt a little cold, so I gave him something to keep him warm.

More to come...

That last photo (Fangio) is a classic!!
Thanks Gerry, He does have a Larger head then mine, so he stretched my beenie. But I am pretty sure Fangio would agree with us as he didn't complain. lol

So After Monte Carlo we drove in a near blizzard, the 107 was blown across 2 lanes of traffic.. luckly there was no-one next to us, there was a campervan ahead of us that had be blown over, and all trucks were sitting on 50km/h so they weren't blown away either, which brought traffic to a crawl.
but we made it to Piza, Piza's weather was alot more friendlier and all they had to worry about was some flooding...

I could only wish....

then braved the conditions again and although a snow and ice storm played havoc to the roads, we were tired but safe in Maranello. The next day we were up early and the car was covered in 5cm of snow, but we brushed it off and headed straight for the Ferrari Museum.

With weather going to play a factor we decided to head back to Paris and give Venice a miss. So we drove all the way through the Mont Blanc tunnel to a small town in France called Bellegarde, small little hick town, but people were very very helpful, and was suprised with the atmosphere.

From there it was Dijon and not really much was happening... stayed for 2 nights there and got onto some really tricky icy roads.... From there straight to Paris.

but I found my sign. it was clear who is going to win Bathurst this year and even what number he will be driving.

So in Paris, you had to pay for toilet use... or do what the locals do...

More to come...

When I was just a little boy I asked my mother 'what should I be'?
Should I be Chelsea? Should I be Leeds?
Here's what she said to me!
'Wash your mouth out son!
Go get your Fathers gun!
Then go shoot the Chelsea scum.
We shall be Leeds, be Leeds!'

WE HATE CHELSEA, WE HATE CHELSEA!!

:p:D

Im in the UK at the moment, too...

I'm a season ticket holder at the Dragons, buddy... and i played for the mighty Shellharbour Sharks in the CRL until i was 19..

But give me proper football any day of the week, please. With proper crowds, proper passion, and a competition where every single match is important.. Promotion/Relegation/European Qualifying Positions. You can't finish 8th and be the Champions. And you cant finish first and be forgotton about. And you cant consider TANKING to get a draft pick. You Tank, you go down a division.

ALSO! theres' no stupid ****in video refs in football... Put the ball in the net. Dont stray offside. Thems the rules.

Fingers crossed this new Indepedant Comission fixes Rugby League up a bit (And gives Aussie Rules a run for it's money)
