What`s the Gee.O

Diffs have been controlled for sometime now.....Haven`t they?
But what goes with 2 teams SB & T8 running different ones?
Is This old news or something?

Its definitely the series for millionaires....The amount of waste that must go on, and not to mention the intangible things like expertise and experience with the gear that gets "superseded" by these decisions. It must drive team owners around the bend.

I was under the impression that they are currently running a rear spool diff.
The way I read it was, that they are trialling the LSD and Detroit Locker, and can only be used in the first 2 practice sessions.

I guess they are finalising specs for CoF... or just making things up as they go[sh]

makes no sense to me, they try and make everybodies performance equal with control brakes, control cams, control personalities etc, and then expect to improve overtaking by changing away from locked diffs to improve cornering ability of the cars?

How about just allowing cars to compete on their strengths and weaknesses and providing overtaking from that?!

I think sometimes they get so wound up in their own piss and importace they loose sight of where they should be going. If V8 supercars and all af the teams stopped and looked around at what categories produce the best racing, they would understand that sometimes the old KISS system "keep it simple stupid" is the way to go. Look at the utes and the aussie racing cars, bugger all teco stuff on the cars and some of the best motor racing seen these days.
