Hi All

I had an idea that i'd like to make a "Tribute" helmet to Dick circa tru blu or greens tuff

does anyone know the brand/model of helmet dick wore during the early 80's?

and does anyone have pics?

Bell helemets in the early 80's. Then Arai

Red then Blue then White in 83 and the QLD Tourisim inspired one from 86 ? I think

When I get home Tuesday I will scan some Helmet Pics from "The Unforgiving Minute" if you still need them.

thanks mate, i managed to find a pic of DJ wearing an Arai helmet from the late 80's, but i couldt find anything from the early 80's

haha i did find a pic of Dj's helmet circa 1981 (the red one) was his greens tuff helmet a different "paint" scheme?

From memory DJ's helmet in the mid 80's was plain white with his name in the sides in Green.
