"UPDATE: Dick Johnson Racing management has released the following statement on the departure of Campbell Little from the team.

“Campbell does not lack the ability or ambition to drive us forward. The outcome here is not the desired one but at the end of the day we are a small team in a very tough financial market and climate, no different to any other team in pit lane.
“The FPR-DJR technical alliance is strong and with our existing engineering group stepping up as well we are confident of continuing our improving results.”
DJR has also confirmed plans to test this Wednesday at Queensland Raceway will continue as planned. "

I read somewhere the other day with John Bowe saying he knows some teams are struggling to even make the grid.. with his close ties you'd have to think he was reffering to DJR.. perhaps funds are drying up..

Any news on Roger?

The costs of running this category for the teams is very high now, we know that,. .the new CotF has not addressed that issue , in fact it has made it worse, Wilson are spread thin across the teams it is supporter of so funding is minimal,.

The question is , While there are big dollar teams who are not having a problem, does V8SC even care if the grid looses a couple more cars? will they just haev a few more 'wild cards ' for enduro's to make up the numbers and continue to get very rich ?

It's a shame Little could not have remained until years end , but if you aren't able to factor his pay into the budget, he can't work for free,

so here we are again,. . . .[help]

Why is Roy leaving? Hopefully he is retiring on his own terms. That will truly be the end of an era. Roy has been the backbone of DJR for so long.
