DJ raced the XB-XC Hardtops in 77-78 & 79 & was the probably the car that really put Dick Johnson on the map outside of Qld.

Q. How many pole positions did Dick score in that 3 year period[?][?]

1. 1 (Lakeside 79, I think)
2. 1 Again at Lakeside in 1979, I think.

While I'm waiting to get hold of an answer... as an aside, it would be interesting to know what happened to the XA sports sedan that Dick ran in 1976... it was Frenchie's 1973 Bathurst mount (Dick called it that 'stinking pile of pus') and cropped up in this month's AMC.

OK, their was one pole position & it wasn't 78 or 79 so that makes 1977 the answer on that one in the XB & Lakeside was indeed the venue, so that's Q.1 out of the way..

Q.2. Might be a tad harder this one as their were 2 podioms but none at Qld venue's.
