That's the one Jonathan!! He left a very successful team for a challenge! He certainly got that didn't he??
You wonder where DJR would be now if JB was still aboard a DJR Ford. Bowe & SJ, that would have been a bloody good combination now you think about it.

But why did he win...Well DJ DNF.
So what you say...
Well what is the DJR connection to DJ's DNF at Winton.(and it has nothing to do with mechanical failure)

QR, 1999 in Caterpillar Falcon. He won one of the heats if I remember & Tander won the round in the VS against all the VT's of the time.

Correct. Quite a controversal race that Third Race, as Bowe passed Tander under yellow flags, with Tander initially being credited the victory. However, in a post-round appeal, CAT Racing won the appeal and was re-instated the race win.

Dick didn't have a DNF at Winton in 1998. From memory, I think he finished 10th, 6th and 5th. Steven was racing the Racing For Life EL, and finished well up there also.

Ah, I get the question now JC[8D], Perkins punted DJ:(:( out of the lead on the 1st lap at Winton 1988 handing JB his first win for DJR:) Now is the answer Curl Orr?? I'm not sure if Curl was with Perkins back in 88 but I know he was with him in the early 90's.

Well I had the DJ connection as Larry.
But Mr Orr might well be the answer. I dont know when he joined DJR.
