Annoying TV Commercials

  • 1. "Your knowledge and input is always welcome but please respect the team, the drivers and other members. Abuse or harsh criticisms will not be tolerated".

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    3. "Use of characters (eg. #$*@!) that only 'partially' disguise an intended vulgar/offensive word(s) is unacceptable!
    If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

What are the tv commercials that make you wana throw something at the screen most?

For me this is easy...

I cannot stand the "What about me?" ad by AAMI. Every time I see it i deadset wana break something! I also hate the CGU Insurance ads where the insurees do a rap. The one with the brickie and the new one with the cafe' owners are disgraceful. What is with the insurance companies?

I don't watch much TV but when I do I always see these ones for some reason... [:(!] [rt] [hb]

See the woman in the bank ad that gives no service.
Well the Bank employees union has made a complaint to the relevant authorities

They have done their job though - you certainly won't forget them

I actually think both of them are pretty clever

I'm with Bartman a bit here, those Holden Owners Grant ones piss me off.... what are we meant to believe that Holden are giving anyone who wants to buy one of their cars a special grant so they can afford it

Bollocks

AND any of those Network ads where they promote their own stars (the Ch 9 one early this year where they had them throwing a ball from one to the other was mind numbing)

That ad by V8 supercars with Pink in it that cost heaps, and is meant to appeal to a wider demographic, but has no relevance to racing. Oh wait....
