What year am I????

This particular year, there were only a handfull of Falcons entered up against a hoarde of Torana's at Bathurst.

In qualifying, the fastest Falcon was a staggering 5.1 seconds slower [V][V] than the pole winning Holden Torana.

Only one of the Falcons finished & finished quite competitively.

Can anyone name what year am I & who was the sole remaining Falcon drivers & where did they finish in the Great Race [?]

mmmm. That was a toughy.

Would I be right in saying 1979, Jim Keogh and John Mann who finished in 14th. Even Allan Moffatt didn't finish.

I am glad that doesn't happen anymore - could you imagine one Falcon making it home amongst all those Commodores.

14th is not competitive enough Seto18!!

While 79 was probably the worst year for Ford at the Mountain, this is not the year I'm refering too.

I'm a bit happier now :D:D:D:D:D

Smart buggers, I give up!!!:(:(:D NEVER!!![}:)]

Can I take the Goss thing a bit further...

Gossy won Bathurst on 2 occassions & with 2 different co-drivers.

Q. What year did these 2 different co-drivers actually drive a car together in the Bathurst 1000, what brand of car were they driving, & where did they finish.[?][?][?]

Time to go watch the footy, I'll respond tomorrow...

Ok ok. Glad I could make you happy Rob. I suppose 1st place would be considered competitive ;)and the only Falcon home in 1974 has to be the one.

SF - with your trivia knowledge, surely you can come up with one to stump Rob. [?][?]

Armin Hahne and Kevin Bartlett shared a Maserati Bi-Turbo in the 1987 Bathurst 1000, which was a pretty diastrous exercise, as they didn't finish the race.
