As Dick is well known for saying that "the only thing you get from looking back is a sore neck".
We cannot change was has happened so lets all hope that this year we can tick the boxs
and do what this team does best.....
kick butt!!!!!

I think it was a number of things that went wrong, the trick is to get on with it and fix it not dwell on the past. It shows that continunity in teams is a great thing, as soon as a team falls apart it goes down hill fast. I reckon if you took 5to6 key people out of 888 they would be the same. look at HRT. its just a shame all the good work from 2008 onwards was destroyed by basically 1 person in DJR.

Had a good chat with Adrian Burgess recently and asked him what were the major differences between DJR and T8.

1. DJR, if you need to purchase something you need to discuss it at a weekly meeting, most times it was knocked back because of cost.

T8, if you need to purchase something, just go and get it.

2. DJR, If something breaks, try and salvage/repair or find an old part to modify.

T8 If something breaks, chuck it out, put a new one in and work on designing a better one.

There are other points he brought up but you get the picture.

Interesting to note no Ford signage on Moff's car. I guess that means that Jnr and Fiore will carry the Ford banners and now the ball is back in Ford's court if they want to be associated with the Moffat brand again. Could be a smart business move.:)

Difference between 888 and djr (or any other team for that matter) - MONEY.

On Moff's car, I quite like it.
Different to every other car, nice and simple, yet very effective.

I spent some time with Jim and Steve Richards on the weekend. They were saying that as the economic conditions get tougher the teams are forced to take drivers that come with sponsorship dollars rather than having to pay drivers (eg djr Four cars, most likely 3 paid seats) they listed many of the drivers that were funded drivers not paid drivers.
They said its similar to leasing a car, its just that they have damage clauses in them. Imagine Karl Riendlers bill last year from his bbq at Western Australia!

The car looks awesome in the flesh especially under direct sunlight. I'm not a fan of black wheels, but they actually suit the Norton Livery.

I thought Mother had pulled their sponsorship with the Webbs at the end of last season yet Auto Action has them returning again this year.[?][?]
