2011 Pre-season Test Day

  • 1. "Your knowledge and input is always welcome but please respect the team, the drivers and other members. Abuse or harsh criticisms will not be tolerated".

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    3. "Use of characters (eg. #$*@!) that only 'partially' disguise an intended vulgar/offensive word(s) is unacceptable!
    If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

Next years pre-season test day will be held at Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway on Saturday 29th January.

In keeping with the tradition of our QLD brothers, I will be in attendance and more than happy to put on a barbie for all those forum members who are keen to catch up.

Given that it is on a Saturday, it may also provide an opportunity to kick on into the evening for those that are keen for a few Beams and a bit of trivia (HH & Bartman).

More details to follow but just putting it out there at this stage.

Sounds great but depends on my new empolyer and if i can get the time off. Don't like my chances at the moment as there are too many Pineapples to pick.

can anyone please tell me how the test days run/work? thinking of taking the kids seeing how it shouldnt cost the same as race day.

Good thing the test day is at Eastern Creek and not Qld Raceway as it went under water yesterday. Just hope it doesn't stuff up the track for later on in the year.

I'd heard it was due to shut in the next week or so for a comprehensive re-surfacing job in any case... prolly won't make that any easier tho'
