Considering Winton has never been a DJR favourite I am not that confident about this weekend, but I am sharing those sentiments bjr!

Well what an interesting race 1 , Skaife who went off so many times I lost count, almost had to have been a lap down , same for todd, and Frosty who should have walked away with that one, pioneered slicks and paid dearly for it pre-emting the drying line and loosing position hand over fist until coming together with Max who I reckon needs a booster seat so he can see over the dash.

Anyway Ford in the top three positions,Steve in 6th after once again avery consistant race.

Steve had a BLINDER of a start. He must have picked up half a dozen spots by the first corner!!!!

He kept in on the black stuff and out of trouble and in the top five all day and until late in the race (when the wets started to go off) and he was within touching distance of the lead the whole time.

Shame the cars didn't seem to have the quali pace to make the ten, but when you consider they are in Fords, they actually qualified really well. As it happened, quali didn't amount for much at the end of the day as Whincup won from 20th.

Hard luck for Will. I would have really liked to see how he handles a wet race.

Looks like the moral of the story is; Don't F@#% with Toll/Hrt James Courtney found out the hard way.

Race 2 delivered some good results for the guys and the strategies seemed on the money.

Race 3 and it was a crying shame to see Junior smoking down pitlane on 7 (or less) cylinders. A strong top five gone begging. Will continued to show well and deserved his spot at the end of the weekend.

Both guys in the top ten in the championship. Let's keep it up.

Great weekend, can't believe we saw a DJR Engine failure... Good to see a new sponsor on the front bumper for the weekend as well.

On serious note... someone on 10/10ths has posted DJR have run out of funds and employees are getting paid late for wages:(

'Wyndham Vacation Resorts' now appears on the front bar of the DJR Fords, but have you noticed that APVC is now missing from the corner's?!?!
As far as I can tell, Wyndham and Accor are not affiliated, but I could be wrong...

With regards to 10/10ths, it was a first post, so I wouldn't read too much into it BB. Rumours will always exist...whether we chose to believe they are fact is another matter. I will reserve my judgement for the moment [8D]

That was one of Steve's best ever drives in my opinion on the weekend & it was a bloody shame he didn't get the just rewards. He was I'm sure the only driver in the field with the possible exception of Tander, who didn't put a foot wrong all weekend, & for that engine to blow in the last dry race after all the good work had been done in the 2 wet races, was a crying bloody shame & I'm sure he's bitterly disappointed! If anyone doubted Jnr's credentials before, they should be now convinced he is worthy of his place at DJR.

Definately the most entertaining round of the year which should now convince Bernie & his mates to take several water trucks to every event to liven the show up a bit........

Well done Jamie on finally beating the TWR mob. Gary Rogers must be now wishing he could turn back time as that is one driver he should not have let go!

Wyndham is the new name for the old Trendwest operation, but now owned by a global company. I think they might have tipped in more money that APVC, and therefore got replaced.

The thing that surprised me most was how often Skaife in particular but also Todd went off, this super brake package they have obviously doesn't help with the lock ups in the wet.

I agree that Steve drove Three consistant races making ground and holding position well until the engine problem, I'd hesitate to say it is a result of his hard work in the gym this year, but he looks as fit as I've seen him in a long while and it probably helps keep the concentration up there.

Once again we see the winner of two races loosing the round by having less points that the winner of just one race, it really bothers me that I'm happy to see jamie get that win , and on his Birthday (correct me if i'm wrong)

Seriously, the winner of two races should win the round.

I agree TS but have a look at Wintons Fujitsu round. Andrew Thompson won 2 races in the Howard BA & A'Alberto didn't win any races but won the round due to being more consistent over the 3 races.

I guess at least Jamie won 1 race & was the only driver to really look like challenging Tander in either the wet or dry, but lets face it, if Todd didn't punt Tander off in race 1, it would have been another clean sweep for Tander & TWR.

Dick seems to have an eye for the young blokes with some real ability doesn't he, Thommo has been smokin since Bathurst last year, I happy that he's with us for the enduro's this year.
