I reckon Skaife is pretty much on the money DJR 17. T8 deserve to be favourites as they have car speed everywhere and have won it 3 of the past 4 years. As defending champion I also think Tander is entitled to be second favourite.

Although JC is leading the Championship, DJR struggled up there last year. I don't think DJR will have the quickest cars up there but I think JC is in with a great shot. I am totally comfortable with him not being tagged 'favourite' as this adds an element of pressure.

With regards to Stevie driving a Holden, I trust Mark Skaife but not James Phelps [tsk]

Of course Skaife is going to predict T8 to win Bathurst and the V8SC Championship as his boss for the Enduro's is Roland Dane. What do you think he is going to say? :)

Rob 17, i understand that they deserve to be favrouts, but with bathurst as you all no anything can happen, and now with the new rules that the 2 full time drivers cant drive together, anything could happen this year.

Well Skaife is driving with Lowndes ins't he, so my guess is that there is definately team orders in play at TR888OR, because Skaife has always been one to rate himself pretty highly. [bgn]

Agree that anything can happen up there and it usually does. Skaife can label them favourites...I don't really care. It will just make victory sweeter when djr are on the top step of the podium.

Skaifeys forgot Whinchump has Steve Owen on his side.

My guess is Owen will run out of talent and wall it or crash with another car

NUH!

No one could be called favourites at Bathurst anymore!

Frosty has had just as much speed as anyone the last couple of rounds and Djr has progressed a hell of a long way since 12months ago.

Hey!..we seem to hit the ground running at most tracks now.

I`m telling ya! Watch out for Sj this year when #17 returnes to victory lane!, [y]

[iag] I'm surprised T8 selected Owen as a couple of their crew were bagging him at a test day a couple of years ago when he drove for DJR in the enduros.
