What Do Club 17 members do during racing break??

  • 1. "Your knowledge and input is always welcome but please respect the team, the drivers and other members. Abuse or harsh criticisms will not be tolerated".

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

How do people spend there time during the racing lull.
I know that my racing Dvd collection will be getting a hammering.[sh]

We don't want to know what you did when you found out SBR were going to Mercedes Maq..[f][:D][:D]

Seem like i will be doing the same as you DJR590. When i get them that is..;)

I find that the season finishes just in time so I can really put my focus solely into the workshop.

Sometimes the elves get a little slack if I'm not there and at this very busy time of the year we really need all hands on deck.

We can't afford any stuff ups between now and Dec 24 to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

After the Christmas rush I will just take a short rest before starting the preparations for 2013 - in between races of course ;)

Not so much on racedays. The rest of the Ford's do ok
I do it alot after bartmans posts. He is one huuuuge meanie.[tsk]:D

Do a bit of fishing and or crabbing

While by-and-large, I've enjoyed the racing I've seen this year, I haven't gone out of my way to watch it. So, during the break, I'll be doing much of the same - bit of fishing, depleting the world's fossil fuel reserves in the XR, adventuring, setting up the music room in the new pad, keeping the Bundaberg distillery in business...
