Lookng at the results for race 3, Canto did not make it out their... Not what DJR needs is another car that is now nuts & bolts. Also dropped Canto to 8th in the championship as well :(

DJR have the worst luck.. We just need a bit of luck to go DJR's way & we could really be onto something good in both the main & development series. Come on GOD, give us a go!!

Hi guys. Just got back from Wakefield. As expected in this series, a good day for Ford. Not so good for the DJR HPDC drivers, as the guys have explained. Didn't see the Canto crash, but he seemed to be doing it easy in Race 1. Damn shame. And Mr Denyer seems to be still finding his way in V8 Supercars. From the outside, it seems as though the car is faster than Grant. In the last race of the day he went off THREE times in a row at the same corner. If he wasn't a DJR driver I'd say he has run out of talent, but its early days yet.

On the positive side, I spoke briefly with new DJR recruit, James Moffat. He's still finding his way in the Utes category which has plenty of drivers with lots of experience. People like Charlie Kovacs and Damien White have plenty of experience with these cars, yet James is starting to make an impact on the results.

The Adelaide crash was a set-back, but not quite as bad as it looked on TV. Most of the damage was panels, both external and the inner guard. However the rails were still straight, which you wouldn't have expected.

In the first two races at Wakefield he seemed to be holding his own, although Damien White was giving him the touch up coming through in the reverse grid race. However in the final race, a couple of the leaders took each other out and James finished second and gaining on eventual winner, White. A good result and plenty of promise for the future IMHO.

James is receiving some financial support from DJR and hopes to do a V8 Supercar test session later in the season. If all goes well, he hopes to do the Development series next year with DJR.
