very sad news. Peter's Torque program was an integral part of my childhood obsession with motoring.

I havn't seen any Peter Wherret turbo Sigmas around for a long time, Torque must of been the only automotive program around when it was on that was worth watching anyway.

Sad news for the Wherrett's. My deepest sympathy to them.

I worked on a few of those turbo Stigmas when I was an apprentice and they were a pretty potent thing ...while they were going. They had a draw through system with a CD stromberg iirq. We used to replace that with a 600 Holley and they made some pretty big numbers on the dyno. They are still POS.

Yeah mine too.

Wherret liked to get the frocks on behind closed doors but who cares i liked his shows and what he had to say
