Several websites are reporting the death of Barry Mulholland, stalwart co-driver to Bruce McPhee on a number of occasions in the Bathurst 500's. Nicknamed "One-Lap", as his Bathurst enduro race appearances totalled no more than 5 laps total in the same number of appearances, he was contracted by the wily McPhee to drive a single lap mid-race to allow Bruce to relieve himself.

An eternal and significant part of the Bathurst folklore, Barry had apparently battled illness for some time. Rest in peace.
