While I agree with the assessment of the two PM's on offer,. . . . . . if you're not prepared to take a viewpoint about who, locally will serve you, your family, your suburb and your electorate the best,. . . .then you can't whinge when you do get a [jk] to represent you. And that's not about politics, it's about having someone who is meant to be representing you, actually knowing how you want to be represented, your views, and being accountable to you whilst in office. That's what's missing in our two party preferred system where they follow the will of the party not the wishes, desires and aspirations of the community

Who says i don't take a viewpoint on who locally will serve me???

Problem is if the member i vote for locally doesn't win then why shouldn't i get to whinge and bitch...

As far as Clive goes at least when HE spends money 95% of the time he makes a very tidy sum whereas when the [jk] that be spend $$$$$ we all lose out and pay for it for a long time...[rt]

Rant and SHIT stir over.

Sure, your preferred candidate may not win,. . . however that does not prevent you holding whom ever does win in your electorate accountable, at the very least for the election promises they might have made.

One of the reasons we get such poor representation is because we really only take notice during elections, and even then for many it's just the chore of voting, we do get the rep's we deserve.

Now that Rudd has been thrown back into the top job since no one else wanted the suicide pass and the egomaniacal sociopath Rudd will do backflip after backflip to win at any cost, Maybe now would be a good time to get motor sport funding set by lobbing him a grenade of votes for cash .

He has just about backed every other minority group that previously he didn't give a damn about, for their votes,. . so why not?
