No real news today except the Dick said they still haven't confirmed a second enduro driver. They had a number of drivers go through car 18 this afternoon including Alex Davison and a few of the Porsche drivers. Dick also siad that it was time the team stepped up this year as it could be a make or break year for DJR.

My feeling on this was he said to me on Monday that the Jim Beam sponsorship was based on merchandise sales so if the team did not perform that would also be affect the sales of the merchandise.

John Bowe only did one lap whilst I was there (4hrs) he said they were having oil pressure problems. I left at 3pm and he said he was still hopefull of getting a few laps done before it got dark.

Both Sirromet cars were running around Paul in a new VE and Coultard in the older VZ. Paul flew himself to the track in his own helicopter and landed it in the car park just at the back of the pits. I parked my car beside it just to piss him off. Don't know if it worked or not.

There were 6 Porsches there and five Development series cars as well but no SBR. They were telling people that they were testing on Wednesday and apparently they tested on Tuesday as they didn't want anyone to be there taking photos.

I don't know how creditable these are, but got this from 10/10th's..

Davison 1.10.9
Johnson 1.11.0

Substantially quicker then anyone else at QR this year, but we all know what QR is like on a day to day basis as it can change that much, but the best comparison we can find is PCR & PMM who were both testing on the same day & were over 1/2 a second slower then DJR.

Looking promising...
