With the trouble Steve had last season with Tander, could we see some real on-track rivalry between the 2 this year?

Was it just that Tander wasn't watching where he was going, or does he have something against Steve?

I thought tander turned Steve around twice last year. I think Steve done well not to punch tander's lights out, cause I would have done it. He certainly does have something against Steve now! lol

What about when Steve ripped Tander's face off at Sandown. I would've decked him too. I still believe Steve would've come at least 3rd if it hadn't been for Tander. Drive thru penalty, bah humbug. Should've been a 24 hour stop go penalty.

My opinion of Steve rose higher than it already was that day because of how he handled the situation. A certain team team owner with a 2 y.o. mentality should take a leaf out of Steve's book. He's a credit to Dick.

Tanders contact with Steven was only outdone by his comments about Dick, on air. lack of respect by a young driver will do him no good when he is out of a drive in years to come.

Tander is a nob he feels it's his duty to take out at least one Ford each round usually DJR or BJR. Hopefully this year the DJR cars will be so far in front of him the only time he'll be close enough is when they lap him.

Umm - Tander said that steven had obviously plenty of his "old man" in him by virtue of his apparent whinging after the incident.

yeah, but tander has to remember that he himself is a whinger like his team boss.

same goes for any other driver who whinges like their boss.

now as for tander having a vendetta against steven, i don't think he does, but you never know.

i just hope this season doesnt turn into a S#@T fight between some drivers.

The quilty ones seem to feel the need to be the loudest ones too! Generally when a driver is resorting to personal attacks on his rivals, it's because his winning ambition is frustrated by:
a) slow car
b) classy rivals
c) lack of talent
d) all of the above
In GT's case, I truly believe a) & b) to be true. To think he can win the races in the first two corners (a la Paul Morris) suggests that mightn't be the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree (actually I think it's more about him trying to get his slow old clunker in front of as many of the quicker cars as possible before they get into a rhythm -- admirable sentiment, but hardly practicable or advisable).

As far as the whinging goes... while I think that the Enforcer might tend to get a bit caught up in his own public image, his philosophy of sorting out any disagreements one-on-one, rather than carrying tales to the press is one that many current drivers could learn from, particularly in the light of events from the Main Event (and I wasn't going to mention THAT ever again!)

I think it's poetic justice that McConville has the lower number than Tander. I know drivers usually keep the same numbers as the previous year, but being the senior driver I thought GR would've given Tander #33.

When Steve wins the ATCC this year is the #1 going on #17 or #18?

If Steve wins it will go on to #17 if Luffs wins it will go on #18 the as the year Bowe won #1 went on his car #18

DJR not in the top 10, & Steve's nemisis is? I'm gonna slash me wrists. Oh well, if Steve's behind him it'll give him a chance to bunt him off the track as payback for Sandown & EC & get away with it.

Go Steve & Warren in 2004.

Could be :D he sounded philosophical on the commentary - but Steve found a new nemesis to play with :( in GT's absence
