Know this was little while ago, hadn't got around to putting the photos up.

At Hidden Valley, I watched the racing from a marquee in the infield which is raised 2-3 metres.
On the Saturday of the race weekend, during the V8 ute quali session, Craig Dontas lost his front left tyre due to 'wheel nut failure' also known as some muppet not putting it on properly.

Anyway, it ended up in our marquee, and I'm still amazed it didn't hit or hurt anyone.

It bounced up off the tyre wall, came through the marquee railing, hit the roof, and landed on the floor. It would have gone over my head had I not been at the bar.....

Yep.

The big money up in the Marquee certainly does get you amongst the action.

We don't get that on the hill.
