Not sure how many of you looked at the Kelly Racing thing tonight on 7mate...Shannons Supercar Showdown.

Reality elimination show...the winner gets a seat next to Denyer at Bathurst.

Its the typical thing...a few young blokes....probably can point a car...couple of cute girlies...probably car point a car too...but it looks like a joke, and a pretty huge sidetrack for Kellys....can't imagine a Kelly racing car factoring at all at Bathurst this year...too busy with this rubbish....but...i might get a surprise...who knows...

I reckon it would have cost a bomb for Ch7 to have Kelly's do it....that and the exposure..sponsorship...good $$$$...might be a ploy for next season...

I've watched my first and last episode of it....hate this sort of TV...crap!!!

I guess it'll turn up on Youtube soon enough,. .. .but I'm with you, I have no interest in reality shows of any kind really, and especially ones involving spoilt little rich bitches like the kelly's ,. . . . might as well have got Paris hilton to co host it with them,. . [tsk]

I did see it, and can't say I will go out of my way to see it again. It's all one big advertisement for Kelly Racing, them trying to say, 'look at us, we are giving so much back'. And they are trying to pedal the 'we've worked so hard to get here' line [jk]

Can't see the car being a contender, but if it means it's distracting for the clowns at kelly racing, then all the better for us come that weekend in October.

Completely forgot about this show. I did a few industry courses a while ago with one of the contestants, Shae Davies, seemed like a really nice bloke, spent more time talking motorsport than anything else

What may of saved it as a show, is if it was say 1 hour long and actually had some substance to the show - not showing us the pointless exercise of the contestants resitting their driving exams (oops that was a spoiler for ANYONE who may of recorded it to watch later)

As if that is going to help you do 300 clicks down the straight at Bathurst

Hopefully the guy who only has an Automatic car licence (and who stalled the car as he tried to take off) doesn't get too far

Ageed, Its a deadset joke this show. We already have one KR contracted driver in David Sera who will have some boxes ticked with the Kellys aleady. I wonder if the other drivers know this? So he is basically at Hell corner when the rest are on the Starting line to use a Bathurst anerallgy.

And whats with the chance of running a Rookie at Bathurst? Denyer got the finger from Murphy on one of his first laps of Bathurst as a Rookie.
This is dangerous, Have CAMs got there finger in the pie somewhere as well?, I thought you have to run at least one or two Fujitsu races at the Mount before getting a seat in the main game?
How about getting the prioritys right like the "In car caution light" for around the top of Bathurst before letting a Rookie loose on one of the tracks with conseqences.

OH well maybe there is a silver lining to being in the middle of nowhere and not receiving any digital channels......
