Shannons 2 Days of Thunder

This weekend the 22nd and 23rd of June there is the Shannons 2 Days of Thunder weekend out at QR.

We will have 3 cars from the Bowdens collection out there on Sunday.

The Geoghegan Mustang with it's newly upgraded motor, the Cecotto/Ravaglia Bob Jane T-Marts Schnitzer BMW and an as yet undecided third car.

Hope to see some of you out there and you might just get a RARE possible sighting of me driving a "Stinky Holden Maloo ute".[help]

Airfares, accommodation, hire car...

Correct me if I am wrong Bartman, but dont remember you putting up to much of a fight when it was suggested you drive the Maloo....

I'm not able to be out there, due to family committments,. ..

But keep and eye out for Steve in the Sports and Sedans Category withthe OUTLAWS as they are known, in his Mazda with the number 58.

Steve has been a good supporter of the club, making our banner and was down with us in the DJR bathurst in a box last year.

Steve and Wendy are always up for a chat, and are budget racers doing it tough.

A stunning day today, some lovely cars, great racing, and a sighting if that most rare creature - the Buderim Stig. Yes he was behind the wheel of a non-ford product, no it wasn't a Maloo, yes I was jealous...

If only you were around when we were loading up as you could have got a photo of me behind the wheel of the Geoghegan Mustang..[f]:D
