I for one wouldn't mind seeing an end to compulsory pit stops between certain laps, and watch a season of racing where the pit stops are done when teams feel they need to make them i.e. fuel, tyres etc....

Primarly see the pits used for breakdowns, and when the safety car is deployed, a gate comes down at the pit enterance so pit work is done only on racing laps.

Maybe instead of 2 races on a Sunday, have 4 shorter sprint races where the fuel on board should see them through without pitting.

That ought to shake things up.

I think I like the idea of it being a "team" sport, which is what the pitstops achieve. I agree that the stops should only be done under green flag conditions and the "window" should be thrown out the window.

I don't like artificial pit stops, I think pit stops should be based on necessity or strategy not because the rules say so. I would prefer longer races tho where different strategies come into play so some stay out to try & make there tyres last while others pit to gain the advantage of a fresh set etc. I hate the 2 tyres at a time thing to it makes the sport look like amateur hour.

Its motor car racing, i dont see it as a team sport really.car racing should be on the race track not in pit lane.:D

the 300km races were heaps better.. The drivers had long enough in between stops to build pressure and there was more chance of pace cars or weather or whatever else to keep it exciting..

These sprint races shit me to tears.. you might as well just watch the start of the race, see who slots in where and then turn it off.

An easy fix would be to replace the fuel tanks with ones that only hold enough fuel for 75% of the race distance, that way you would have some teams running "light" at the start, and others "light" at the end.

I love the idea of 75% in the fuel tanks, that`s a cracker of an idea. Also would like to see 2 extra sets of tyres (8) in all with one set a softer compound.Quallifying for every race as well,Not starting where you finish the last race. But wait there`s more.A larger margin between the points for 1st to 2nd[drive]
