Skaife to be replaced by Longhurst for Sandown. Skaife had his appendix removed this morning. That should mean one less red car to worry about this weekend. Not wanting to offend the Seton fans but I don't think Glenn will be on the pace and Tony has no miles in the Car.

Shouldn't make any difference to the outcome with #17 to be first home.:)

I heard the over inflated, over sized ego was putting too much pressure on the appendix, so it was either the ego or appendix had to go. The appendix never had a chance.
Ah well, least he's got rid of one of his "dix".

Oh, and all the best Jnr & Bree, congrats on your marriage, happy and long life together for you both.

That's not nice nascar12, have some sympathy for the poor guy. I have just heard it is actually more serious then first though, Skaife has now admitted that the cause of his problem was he held back a sneeze and because of the size of his nose the back pressure not only caused his appendix to enlarge but it also blew his asshole off. Apparently the asshole is still driving though, it will be teaming up with Radisich in the #1 Toll car.:D

im gutted... I hope we can get these reliabilty problems out of the way fast, I just hope that these failures today at Sandown are not due to cost cutting...

Bring on the BIG ONE!!!!

While we obviously don't know what conditions it was run under in terms of fuel load and tyre condition, I am comforted by the fact that when Steve did get back out there he set a lap which stood as the fastest of the race for a long time, and was only just beaten by car 22 closer to the end.

If thats a true indication of the pace that they were potentially carrying, then things look good -and this weekend just falls into the "what might have been" files :(

Shame to see both cars out by the finish, tough.

Nice drive from craig, just getting on with it after a bit of grumbling about murf and the blue flags, and lucky the bash with murf didn't end his race.

Why did #18 stop for??
Transmission oil leak.

It was a great weekend for DJR right up until the first few laps then it all went pear shaped from there.

At least the team showed some promise heading into Bathurst.

Well that didn't really go to plan did it? What a bugger. Rather it be at Sandown than Bathurst.
Onward & upward lads! We'll come good! Brock Trophy here we come!

I was EXTREMELY disappointed with Sundays result especially after all the anticipation of the first enduro and the DJR speculation of late. Strangely though, I now find myself with this inner-calm largely due to the teams pace and consistency over the entire weekend and the potential they are taking to the mountain.
DJR have one of the best driver line-ups out there and I really believe they are genuine contenders in Car 17 barring unreliability or misfortune. Did anyone notice the straight-line speed of the DJR cars on the straights? They are going to be exceptionally quick up and down the mountain.
Bring on Bathurst. I am very optimistic and a podium would go a long way towards making up for what has been a trying couple of years for everyone at DJR. Heads up lads. Lots of positives to take from Sandown.

I think they have a very very good chance at Bathurst. They have both regulars together which I think hs a huge advantage over those that do not. And they seem to have very good pace as well.

I'd like to see Back to Back Ford wins at Bathurst (when was the last time that happened?). But sorry guys I'm hoping more for #4.. But if they can't then it would be good to see DJR win something again.

I'm really not enjoying those incar HRT shot of Seto.. Just looks wrong, wrong, wrong!! For the love of god, come back to Ford.
