Don't be fooled by all this guys. This is gamesmanship of the highest order. He's whinging because its good media fodder, and, most importantly, what has he got to lose. If Dane was serious, he would have lodged an appeal. If you read his comments, seems he had plenty of shit to throw. Why didn't he lodge a protest?

Saturday's telecast clearly showed the FR rotor coming out of #1 in pieces when they removed the wheel... they were fitting up a replacement one, which was visible too.
What was also apparent was the wobble that #18 showed on the same corner when she went back out... but given that Whincup didn't seem able to round JC up, one might assume that #1 was no healthier than #18...

Don't know about the #1 car having a missing rotor but I do know that the Driver and Owner of the said car are missing a PERSONALITY and ability to accept (without whinging) that they were beaten by a BETTER team.

Can someone please tell Roland Dane that Aussies like nothing less than wingeing bloody poms.
His big budget super team was beaten fair and square by the highly skilled, under funded DJR.

well it certainly wasn't any healthier than #18, else he would've passed him for the extra points!
Dane has a short memory, how fit was Lowndes's car at Philip Island in 2006, wheels looked like they where about to fall off on Australia's fastest track.
Yep I was told it had no brakes, which was confirmed on the telecast when he came in the pits and hacked it back down on the limiter and then ran up james arse to stop.
