It is now becoming obvious that there are two distinct classes in the category now, the T888 chassis, and the rest. The T888 chassis is getting on with racing and all credit to BJR with a great effort to get theirs set up for the soft tire sprints. The rest seem to be in learning mode, how long that will go on for is a bone of conjecture, with most pundits think a couple more rounds before we see competitive results.

I'm disillusioned with the category this year, and the jokes about it becoming a commodore cup race are becoming reality, if not for FPR the second class would be easily segregated to the lower half of the results board.

JB has said the aero difference of which holden does have an advantage is apparent and that the few percent of extra downforce within the guidelines for acceptable packages is having a marked effect, I think he's right.


Just venting, . . . not trying to start an arguement.

I'm happy to see that our guys are not bottom of the learner class at least.

It became apparent, at least so far, that who does well one week won't necessarily do well the next.

Ingall had a decent round 1, and looked like he may be one of the first to get a handle on how to drive these cars, but then had a shocker the following week. It's the same for Van Giz, who really only had one good race [out of four], yet was fairly dominant the week before.

If the AGP weekend counted toward the championship the leaderboard would look interesting.
