hopefully red bull will look after webber but it doesn't sound like they are, will have to wait till the after the race this weekend to see what webbers main rival vettal does

If Alonso is going pretty well this weekend, then Vettel will have no chance.
If that is the case and Mark is behind Vettel then he should be allowed to pass as that is the only chance Red Bull have to win the championship.

Alonso needs to hope nothing happens to his engine as he's on his last one and it's already done a few races already.

You can see it a mile off....Webber DNF last round.

Gee i hope not...But.

That one small mistake, being overcautious and putting a wheel off the black stuff, has cost Webber dearly, but not nearly as much as the lack of Team support has throughout the season.

Mark should win this, . . . . . . . but. . .

If Alonso crashes out next race, I just wonder if a mistake in the pits will cost Webber the win and hand it to the most pretentious bad sport and spoiled brat in the field this year. That will be disappointing.[rt]

I have a gut feeling that if Vettel is leading Webber on the last lap and Alonso is third (which is the most likely outcome), Vettel will let Webber by.

Fingers crossed...

In any other team, yep that's how it would go, . . . so lets hope commonsence prevails.[bgn]

if this was the case, they would of done that 4 rounds ago, and webber would only have to finish in the points to come first..

Vettel is not about to pull over and let Webber through. Red Bull will lose this championship as a result.

Best case is that Alonso DNF's or finishes out of the points and Webber finishes first or second behind the snivelling sook.

Should be a good race. It is a shame that the media here in Australia are still not behind Webber. This story should be front page news.

Cheers

No no. Red Bull have been giving their drivers 'equal' chance of winning the drivers championship, and I am sure that they do want to win it. Vettel has always had a mathematical chance of winning (and still does). As soon as he cant win it (and Webber can if he lets him past) then he will him by (I am sure he will wait until the last lap to do so though, just to make a point...).

It is in Vettels best interest. I am sure he will want Webber helping him out next year... [sh]

I am staying up tonight to watch the race. Whatever the outcome, it is the closest we have come to an Aussie winning the F1 title sonce AJ in 1980.

Go Webber! I hope that his wayneker team mate has a dnf.

My hope is that Vettel and Alonso have total blinders off the start line and Mark Webber gets off to a sluggish start.
Vettel and Alonso then arrive together at the first corner and take each other out in a cloud of smoke and Mark cruises past flipping "The Bird" and telling them he's #1.

Go get 'em Mark and if you do succeed as champion don't forget to tell the snivelling sook that YOU OWN HIM and he is now your Biatch.
