Might need to cut young Larry some slack. my understanding is that over the years, even in Karts Larry didnt offer Jack much help. I was involved in Karting in Melbourne and when Jack was racing i think you will find that he had to find the funding and organise transport to the tracks etc himself while Larry polished his hellicopter. So i wouldn't mind betting that his V8 drive was similar, and if so young Jack deserves some credit. Larry is one tuff man and Jack is not like Dumbrell who's dad just keeps signing the cheques.

Well said... Larry has always told Jack, if you wanna go motor racing then your gonna do it the hard way... "you want it, then you go get it, im not going to spoon feed you." unlike like some other V8 Superfarce drivers... some very close to home too in my opinion.....

With his medical condition, his very poor eye sight and plain inexperience all working against him, the reality is that Jack is going to find it tough to get another full time ride without driving for dad.[bgn]

like them or hate them at least the Kelly boys have talent. Much more than can be said about Jack Perkins. Thank god he's gone....

They sure have especially when it comes to punting others off.
At least when Jack did it it was Skaife and we all forgive (congratulate) him for that.[crackup]

I have a soft spot for the Kellies as the first Holden team after every other Ford team and can`t wait to see them make every other Holden team look second hand this year.

My prediction for 2010 will see Jim & Jack battleing it out for top prize!

If they have "talent" they're hiding it pretty well, especially Todd who has turned into one of the grubbiest retards on the track since Paul morris hung up the boots. Despite jack perkins Shortcomings as a driver and his copious accidents I never have seen him deliberately aim for another car or continue to cause an accident that could be avoided. I think what we've seen from camp kelly is great marketing, a rich dad and a pair of spoilt brats who had a great time while they were flavour of the month but who don't handle loosing very well.[tsk]

If Rick had 'talent' he would have backed up his title, but his a one hit wonder, and cements the fact that his title was a flook. [bgn]

Todd, one bathurst and afew race wins and that's it......[jk]
