Looks like everyone has been avoiding the PI subject this weekend so I'll be the one who brings it up.[:0][:0]

Huge well done to Will Davison on what should have been a podioum finish. The car had good speed all weekend & you drove accordingly. Just a pity about that little **** who punted Lowndes out of the way, in which Davo was an innocent bystander, which ultimately took him out of the Caterpillar Grand Final. Thankyou Davo for giving us DJR supporters hope in the latter rounds of the 2006 series.

WEll done SJ on 9th in the series. Good solid job.

As for Rick, you are the least deserving driver to ever have their name engraved on the Australian Touring Car Championship! [)]

At the risk of sounding like a sore loser, but that final race isn't the way you win a championship.

By the way well done Jnr, hanging tough and staying inside the top 10 and some gutsy stuff from Davo.

Well Done WD on a great 2nd half to the year for DJR... Jnr once again you finished the year off inside the top ten... Well done mate!

Now we all have to sit tight and bite our finger nails to see if we have any DJR cars to cheer for in 2007.

A fitting end to the ****tiest championship I have ever had the misfortune to witness. What a joke.

Great work Davo, you've done us proud. And Lowndesy, great effort to bring home mortally wounded car. Hold yer head high, son, we know who the moral victor is...

On the other forum I have likened "Crash and Burn" Kelly's actions to the spoilt brat tantrum, desperado type behaveour exibited by Michael Schumaker ( the incident with Damon, the one with Nigel etc,) Unfortunately its more of the same desperate sh1t we've seen from him before when under pressure, I also think Todd was involved in some blocking there and had planned to allow Crash and Burn to take the lead. Anyway dissapointing, I'm a long time DJR tragic, but if theres no DJR I will probably give the V8's a miss next year.

Well done Steve , Keeping yourself inside the ten, good work.
Great effort Will, showing some serious speed and aggressive driving.

And to Thommo, it'll be a shame to see a young bloke with talent go
Grant , always entertaining and fast.
Marcus, The Au needs to go mate, time for a new buggy I think, keep your head high.

Good job by Will , was really showing some speed at seasons end.

Time to seriously lift your game Steven.

Those bunch of grubs from the TWPG should be drawn and quartered for the **** they have turned this championship into. That **** ****inshaw should be shot at first light.
Skaife's Tanders and Prick Kelly's driving was absolutely disgraceful. The whole TWPG should be excluded from the results

What a FUKCING DISGRACE!

Did you guys hear the FUKCWITS excuse? If Lowndes outbraked himself how the FCUK did the Imbecile run into the back of him?

Did anyone notice that Frosty was very Frosty towards him on the podium? This will go down in history as the most unpoopular win ever.

Would Moffat, Brock, Johnson or Beechey ever have won or wanted to win in that manner? I think not!

If the snivelling little CNUT had any FCUKING decency whatsoever he would have parked the car and let it go to a countback.

What a disappointing end to the series. No matter what the final outcome is I don't think anyone would want to claim the championship after all the issues have been settled.

As Henry said hold yer heads high Davo and Lowndes, and thanks for nothing to the other Ford drivers who were in a position to help Lowndes but didn't.

To Tander and Skaife, I would not like to be either of you guys as you travel to each of the circuits next season. Good luck as I think your going to need it along with a couple of bodyguards. To Uncle Tom and the rest of TWG, as Jim Richards once famously said "your a pack of ASSHOLES".

Well I drove over fom Adelaide to see what I hoped would be a just end to the joke this year has been - oh boy how disappointed am I?

What a joke. That 4 car team should have been disqualified for their antics the whole weekend. I couldn't believe they took so long to flag Skaife and then they did it again Sunday with Tander.......:(

I am so angry:( - I have never in all my days watching this sport seen such an undeserving little c..t win the championship. What a joke when you don't have to be the best on the track to be the champion. Even Rusty won a round last year and Craig deserved it more than he did too. In other sports competitors have been banned for doing that to their rival (ice skating comes to mind). Kelly should have been given a stop go at the very least - it was the last thing in along line of bulls..t all weekend (I have seen stop go's handed out for less too). F....n typical though, that the only way he was ever going to win was by cheating. Given that Cockbrain is on the TWPG pay roll (or so it appears), we all know what the outcome will be when the stewards meet. They should be excluded from the first 4 rounds next year - it is just disgraceful. Come on Karma !!

Lowndes should never have been in that position in the first place - Surfers was the first big joke in this whole scenario - getting black flagged for obeying the rules, just not in the 10 seconds afterwards (next time he will just have to be unsafe about redressing). That had to be the fastest penalty I have ever seen - pity they weren't that fast this weekend. It is a joke when the guy who raced all season gets pinged and the little **** who did f..k all wins. Whoever ends up with the championship - it will be a very hollow victory.

If I was a Holden fan I would be very disappointed and ashamed today - a lot of Holden fans left the track rather quickly and quietly too I might add.

24hrs? later, and although I'm still not happy how the race was won, if I were in Craigs shoes, I wouldn't want it handed to me by a bunch of beaucrats sitting round a table either.

Craig, title or no title, you CAN hold your head up high. The goose with the trophy cannot!

Well said Nascar. Times like this I'm glad I'm a Ford man & not a little grub who drives or supports Holden. What a discrace!

Hmm talk about a Hollow Victory - I honestly cannot recall a championship result so tainted as this one. As young and impetuous as he is, I hope RK takes some heed from all of the backwash - his actions were unsportsmanlike, and the penalty handed out as a result of those actions was about as useless as an ashtray in a motorbike (yes . . . I had to say it!!)

I'm the same, i still feel the championship is unresolved.

more than that , it's an embarrassment that in Australia's premium Touring car Category we have the most consistant LOOSER as the Champion,

Our so dubbed Champion LOST every round ; Lost every Race ( except one); and even LOST the final event( coming home 18th, after resorting to desperado tactics )

We have just seen the most embarrassing event of all time up to now in Australian Touring car History ; It even superceeds the Jim Richards crash at the mountain where he was awarded the win for being in the lead 1 and 9/10ths laps before.

I for one have lost confidence in Avesco to manage properly the V8 events , Judiciary, and points system; and further believe that Cocheran will be the demise of our beloved motorsport category.

It's time for a Super leage type defection from this sham, to set up a new series , one that rewards driver ability and tenacity, with real cars that are affordable for teams to run. Yes it would be a challenge, yes it would take a heap of organisation, but it would be worth it.

Just wat to hop of my soap box and say Congratulations to Craig for being given the 'Barry Sheene" award.
