Seems that there has been some racing going on during the 9 week break at Bathurst.

17 electric cars went for a race around Mt Panorama, well more of a sedate drive I would have thought.

Thankfully karma has prevailed, with the race being called off due to wet weather.

Hope Tony Cochrane wasn't there to declare that actually this was the greatest show on wheels, and would be the main focus of V8SA leading into the future, as electric cars are the direction that australian motorsport needs to be heading in...

I think there's a video on You tube fo an electric drag car, it's almost silent apart from tyre noise, . . . . .and bloody fast.
