I'm just annoyed

  • 1. "Your knowledge and input is always welcome but please respect the team, the drivers and other members. Abuse or harsh criticisms will not be tolerated".

    2. "This forum is designated 'Family Friendly' - (ie. we have young & impressionable readers - even if they're not Members/Posters) - therefore language must be moderated! - (how would YOU feel about YOUR 9 year old reading it?)

    3. "Use of characters (eg. #$*@!) that only 'partially' disguise an intended vulgar/offensive word(s) is unacceptable!
If you MUST express yourself in such a manner... use ***** and let the reader's imagination 'fill in the blanks'."

    Thank you for your cooperation.
Okay, here's just a random thread.

I'm not happy about not getting up today in the netty GF. Now, i know that there would be a fair few of you that wouldn't/don't rate netty seriously, but damn, I wanted that medallion today, and we fell short.

So, it's time for me to move on, re-focus, and put all my energies towards (what I'm calling) boganfest 2010. The deni ute muster, bathurst double. I say bring it on, and look out anyone that stands in my way.

I know how you feel having both won and lost grand finals.
When you lose, it is the emptiest feeling and you end up questioning every pass you made, every decision and the only way to nullify it is to go and get thoroughly plastered for a few days - you end up so wasted that the GF is far from your mind! [sc][sc] :)

Sorry about your loss, but seriously if you put your heart and soul into the game , be proud of your achievment, . . its not all about winning.

ok, . . . i'm not kidding anyone am I, . . .

On another tangent, . . . one of Australia's biggest supporters of Netball is , . . . . . . the ANZ bank, . . . . . believe it or not.

And I forgot to mention one of the most important things....
We still have the end of season trip yet!!

The team will be spending a weekend on a houseboat, so there will be plenty of commiserating going on, just we don't crash into anything.

I played a season of mixed netball with the missus and her friends a little while ago, and coming from playing Football and Rugby League my whole life, i found 'netty' to be the single most frustrating and ridiculous sport you could possibly imagine..

You cant run with the ball, you cant leave your allocated little area, and WORST of all.. you cant knacker someone if theyre quicker than you because you're not allowed to bloody touch them!! I couldnt get it.. defend, be tough, but dont touch them.. ?

ugh.

It's all about subtlety. It is possible to shirt front someone, it just takes timing, precision, and an innocent 'who me' expression:D

And as for the pillow fights and jelly wrestling, well, anything could happen. First night will be tied up outside the local pub. And who knows, there could even be a spa on the boat.

Here we are trying to be blatently innapropriate, . . . and what do we get? . . . . . .more fuel for the fertile imagination, . . . . [rt]

But I like it, . . . .a . . spa. . . you say. . .[crackup]

The step daughter came to Sydney with the rest of the family on the weekend and missed her Netball GF.
Fortunately they won anyway.

Don't know what it's like to lose a final of any description.
In all the different sports i've played over the years if we made the finals we won it.
Lost a few semi finals though
