I never told ya about the new car!

Well, picked up the new car this mornin', and god damn, does it fly. I thought the ole BA had a bit of stick behind it, but the new FG XR6T just kicks. Must start putting some coin aside for the speeding tickets, cos I can see them coming. Am looking for gift vouchers from SA police under the christmas tree this year! Or some sympathy/empathy if I can get it.

Okay, had my first run in with the cops today, got pulled over for an RBT After being asked how the new car was going, got in a discussion about holden v ford (don't forget I'm in SA, the home of the clunkadore). Anyway, happily extolled (is that a word?) the virtues of the XR6T, faster than an VESS, clubsport etc, only to be to told, it's a ford, only a 6, it's got no note. In the meantime, the same officer was so blinded by the sheer engineering beauty of the FG he couldn't even get out the spiel of this is a rbt etc, just said, here blow in this, i'll tell you when to stop. Was so hard not to engage lauch control on the way out!
